M.A.R.S was forged with the objective of keeping people fit and able to handle whatever life throws their way. Founded by lead instructor and tactical strategist Anthony Rummery, the system was developed to enhance physical performance, underpinned by a comprehensive understanding of martial systems and current resistance training methodologies. What began as a local combat collective has evolved into a training architecture focused on self protection, sustained autonomy and functional longevity.

KEN SEI SHOTO-RYU KARATE-DO
Our original training system which Anthony has taught since 2022. Ken Sei Shoto-Ryu mixes traditional Japanese Karate and Okinawan weapons with popular striking and grappling martial systems, making it an effective combat system. Ken Sei Shoto-Ryu was founded in 1995 by Michael Fardell, 7th Dan, with headquarters in Port Macquarie NSW as Mid Coast Martial Arts Academy.
